I could write a long response to this and I do appreciate your long response and enthusiasm for twitter. I'm just not going to read it. I have used twitter. I think it's a waste of time. Simply as that. Maybe one day I'll find it more useful, but I doubt it. I just don't care enough to put in the work to find out every aspect of a story. It's not my job. I have a job that I need to focus my time on to be successful and would gladly pay for someone else (i.e., the news outlets) to package and vet the stories for me. Twitter might be able to connect so many people, but at the end of the day I only view it as entertainment or a supplement to entertainment. There are better and more important things to do.
