Taper Update - The Neverending Story

You and I started our quit at the same time (though I was just on 20 g of plain leaf, sometimes 24 g).

I've been out of the woods for nearly four weeks! Listen, withdrawals suck, but they can be worked through. I could see a desk job being a little more difficult, in my job I was on my feet for 8 hours, but I feel like it helped...I actually worked six days straight, most of them through withdrawals. I feel like the absolute worst thing you can do is put yourself in a position where you would normally use.

My only thing is, why prolong this for weeks/months when it could be over this time next week. 10 g is not a huge jumping point, and if you're suffering anyway, why prolong it?!?

My advice to you is to go as long as you possibly can without kratom, test your limits of how far you can go, and only when you're at your absolute worst, most unbearable point do you take the smallest possible dose for relief.

I understand the theory behind tapering but I just don't see the appeal...suffer moderately every day for months or suffer heavily every day for a week...I'd rather get it over with.
