Tara Reade cancels planned interview with Fox News Sunday

That’s not even remotely true, nor is it something a person could tell if it were translated properly. Sentence structures are different across languages and a proper translation is going to change structures to be grammatically correct. Cadence wouldn’t survive this transition.

For example, if in Spanish I said “El perrito”, a proper English translation would be “the little dog”. There is no way to keep the feel or cadence of the Spanish diminutive form because it doesn’t exist in English. You need to add a word.

And that’s just one detail. If I wrote “la perrita” now you have to choose between translating it as “the little dog” again, or whether you want to include that it’s the feminine version, in which case you have to say “the little female dog”. Look how different that is from the original.

La perrita —-> the little female dog

No sense of structure or cadence is retained.

If her writing retained Russian cadence, then it would be poorly translated and immediately obvious to native English speakers. This isn’t the case, and I wish people would stop making things up.
