I’m not getting on LE’s back, I went to school for law enforcement/criminal justice, I understand how difficult a case like this can be.

I’m just saying that for whatever reason they spent two years thinking FSG was the main POI and either didn’t think SSG was a serious suspect or failed to release his sketch for some other reason, mistakes do happen, LE investigators are human too.

I don’t think they know who it is, they may have some theories and they may know some things about the suspect from evidence or a profile but that is not the same as having a name and just needing to corroborate evidence to insure a conviction.

I really hope that this new sketch and the info about the car helps lock in a suspect, but at the same time I am worried that if this info had been released in closer to real time while people’s memories were fresher it might have helped more.
