Tattoo tribute to my lost son

Wouldn't someone who lost a kid feel bad whoring their son's death on reddit just to get karma and attention from strangers? I know if that's true this is kind of a rude thing to say. Just thinking through the mental process it's like the only reason to post on reddit is for attention no? And including "my son died" or insert tragic thing here, is basically playing on the trust and the pity of everyone here and then I look like an asshole for calling it out because there are a lot of sympathetic people in the comments giving him the benefit of the doubt. So the question really is: is it worth it to give people and posts like this the benefit of the doubt? Probably but then again I just cant buy it because it's something I would never do if it actually happened. So sorry OP if you read this and are honest but ya.
