Tax cuts commit Australia to austerity | Russell Marks

I dont "think" it has been happening for nearly twenty years.

In the last twenty years I have lived in every corner of this country, from Brisbane to Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth, Cairns and even spent quite a lot of time in regional areas for work. Islam will never be a driving force behind anything in this country. While I admit there is the occasional useful idiot recruited to whatever flavour Islamic jihad group is in fashion at the time, Islam is still a right-wing religion in a country that is fast becoming non-religious at a steady pace. 49% of the country are Christian, 30% identify as non-religious, Islam are a meagre 2.6% of the population and the number of those Muslims that would be looking at starting a revolution would be far less than 2.6%.

Maybe in your line of work or social circle you might see a different picture.

10% of this population marginalised enough to become radicalised? to Islamic extremism? I don't think so.
