Denmark's middle bracket is 77% higher than America's 22% bracket (the next higher one in America is 24%). Denmark's top bracket is 52.7% higher.

Denmark's middle bracket is literally higher than our highest federal bracket.
Sweden's is a bit different because of a much higher "municipal" tax rate, but the differences between the middle bracket(s) and the top are still not as great as America's.
