Taylormade SLDR vs. Cobra Bio Cell Irons

[–]peonage 5 points 21 hours ago  I have the bio cell irons and love them. Get them in orange for +5 to your yards (it's my favorite color). permalinksavereportgive goldreply [–]nsciraSan Antonio, Tx 2 points 18 hours ago  I have the + version and I love them. And it is pretty cool being able to color match to your set. permalinksaveparentreportgive goldreply [–]wyobourbonbandit 2 points 20 hours ago  This is just like painting my car yellow right? GOES FASTER! permalinksaveparentreportgive goldreply [–]italiansauce11[S] 2 points 19 hours ago  What about Red do those add like 3 extra yards since its part of orange... permalinksaveparenteditdisable inbox repliesdeletereply [–]thiney49 2 points 20 hours ago  I don't have an opinion, but I thought the SLDR irons were 'player irons', while the Bio Cell are GI. You'd want to compare either the Speedblades vs Bio Cell, or SLDR vs Bio Cell+. permalinksavereportgive goldreply [–]italiansauce11[S] 1 point 20 hours ago  I think the SLDR are like an in between because I know the Speedblades are GI where as the Tour preferred are player irons so I'm curious to how people like each or what they don't like. permalinksaveparenteditdisable inbox repliesdeletereply [–]wyobourbonbandit 2 points 20 hours ago  I approach this as a TM guy. R9 TP-B irons. R1 big dog, RBZ Stage 2 - 2H. That said...I would buy the Cobras. Buddy of mine plays them, and I loved the feel right out of the box. So much that I replaced my 3H with their hybrid. Just my 2 cents. permalinksavereportgive goldreply [–]italiansauce11[S] 1 point 20 hours ago  Cool thank you! permalinksaveparenteditdisable inbox repliesdeletereply [–]zaphodbeeblebrox42Toronto 1 point 17 hours ago  The Cobra Bio Cell woods/hybrids are absolute soft serve ice cream. So smooth and sweet. permalinksaveparentreportgive goldreply [–]wyobourbonbandit 1 point 14 hours ago  They really are. I put the driver away for most par 4's now. Just finished my 54th hole with the same ball because of it. When it's struck pure it's like hitting nothing. permalinksaveparentreportgive goldreply [–]deathbysnusnu7 1 point 19 hours ago  Go hit some at your local pro shop. You may find you don't like either one of the sets you've mentioned. permalinksavereportgive goldreply [–]FrankieBiaseGolf 1 point 15 hours ago  Cobra, cobra, cobra! I play the biocells and love them! permalinksavereportgive goldreply

formatting helpreddiquette save [–]nothing_available 1 point 13 hours ago  I just purchased bio cell irons and it was between Bio cell irons and the SLDR. At the end of the day, I hit the cobras better and the pricing was a factor. At the end, I got new grips and cobra bio cells for 389. SLDRs were 499 for just the irons permalinksavereportgive goldreply [–]italiansauce11[S] 1 point 13 hours ago  Well you guys convinced me permalinksaveparenteditdisable inbox repliesdeletereply [–]nothing_available 1 point 5 hours ago  If you have a pga superstore near you, you can buy the cobras and if you don't like them, you can 3xchange them for the sldr within 90 days with the reciept. That's why I bought mine at the pga superstore permalinksaveparentreportgive goldreply [–]bmilo14.5 1 point 6 hours ago  The SLDRs are amazing. I hit them longer than the Speedblades despite weaker lofts. The feel is really good for a game improvement iron. It's a shame these got lost in the shuffle with TM releasing shit too often. Good for us though. I got them for $400 4-W + SW. permalinksavereportgive goldreply

Just bought the Bio Cell 4-PW and GW for $270 in Red
