TCU Disappointed me twice today. Here's Chancellor VBo responding more like a part-time manager than a chancellor to a passionate alum's well-written plea.

He has every resource and an army of people at the ready who can educate him on TCU institutional flaws, how important his voice is, and how bad it looks when those in power are dismissive of important topics. But despite the fact that this has been a vocalized issue at TCU for a LONG time now, he clearly still hasn't taken the time to truly internalize the concepts of systemic prejudice or privilege.

VBo was very good to me during my time at TCU. I truly believe he cares about every student as an individual. I had hoped that he would respond in a way that indicated he was open to exploring the topic. I would've even settled for slightly more competent bullshitting. But this "woe is me" approach was bottom of the barrel.
