I was like that and I attribute it to spending a lot of time on my PC growing up, I always was and still am a super curious person so I'd constantly Google things I haven't heard of ever since I was little, and I'd constantly be talking to adults online (nothing creepy, I'd play games with them and I still talk to them to this day). A part of me does feel like I grew up too fast, but I think the benefits were more than worth it, knowledge is what I care about the most and I gained a ton of it, now I teach at a college so I can share that knowledge. I was somewhat shy depending on who I was around in school, but I think it was just hard for me to relate to people because I had far different interests than the norm, I was still cool with everyone though and I made some lasting friendships.
