Teachers of Reddit, what 'clicked' about a pupil after meeting their parents?

My friend had their kid taken after he was reported for having two bruises. One was like the size of a dime on his temple, and then months later on his hand. They didn't know what they were getting cuz he was a hyperactive 4 year old. Kids are covered in friggin bruises. Hell every parent we know said their kids and they themselves are covered in bruises they couldn't explain. How many times have you looked at your arm or leg and been "when the hell did I get assaulted?!". Good parents, clean home, no drugs or anything. They just took the kid right from daycare and put him in a foster home for a month. Then they went to court like 4 times and never got to see a judge. Then put the kidv with Grandma for six months before letting him go home. They wanted them to take parenting classes but cps doesn't offer them themselves so you're expected to just.. Go find them somewhere. While working. And they couldn't find any that worked with their schedule so they just got harassed by cps for like a year for not fulfilling their requirements. Finally their assigned therapist got some books or something to go through with them. All because of two bruises on a hyperactive 4 yo. with ADHD
