Teacher's of Reddit. What's the coolest thing you've confiscated of a child?

You said I read a lot into it that wasn't there, but then don't mention anything/what exactly. Other than the USD/CAD thing, which is ultimately irrelevant because regional pricing means its 1k USD, CAD or even euro anyway and I was just going with that (and also not exactly my fault for assuming the most likely thing if you dont specify).

The rest you offer up here is just new information, while explaining the original comment wasn't in said comment. And its a bit contradictory too, like saying "obviously you know they come in different prices" but then say you get one for that price every two years anyway, rendering the previous statement moot.

So I'm still very much unsure what exactly I was supposed to read into that wasn't there, since at least I feel like I did have a good reason for believing everything I said in the last comment.

And saying you were clear in the subsequent comment doesn't magically mean it isn't what you said in the first.

I still don't get it; that and the first bullet point to me seems more like you're essentially saying "Yeah I wrote it badly and based on the way I wrote I did say it, but it's not what I meant and I expected you to be able to read my thoughts instead of my written words"
