Teachers' strike

Poland generally does not strike much, compared to the West, the people do not stand up for themselves. So while it maybe a bit political (as Broniarz, the leader seems to be cosy with the opposition) it is high time someone went on strike. Other state funded jobs, like ambulance paramedics, young doctors and nurses, court and ministry office workers, fireman, academic teachers etc are probably next. And I don’t mean this a pro PiS (current government) or pro PO (former government now opposition) statement, as salary wise, both these ruling parties (and some more) have failed people, with Polish salaries, especially in state funded jobs, lagging behind neighbouring coutries. But I guess Poles, unlike say French or Germans just rarely protest and cause chaos, so when it happens it’s big news...
