“Teaching 1” instead of “KWTD” in my raid LFG posts has been game changing

You keep talking about light requirements like they are the end all. They aren’t. Not even close. Raids take extreme coordination and communication and memory. Then you add skill to that. If you lack any of those things you aren’t getting through a raid unless you are a designated add bitch.

Uh, no, absolutely not. Raids are not that hard at all. They don't require extreme coordination. It's literally basic coordination. One person sees symbol, calls it out, another person does a thing in response. No mechanic is actually that complicated. Master content is often more challenging skill wise than raids, because it requires actual gameplay skill, which raids generally do not.

Master activities don’t require any of that. The only thing that matters in master is being able to stay alive and shoot things. You have 2 to 5 other people who are there doing the same thing. It doesn’t take communication. It takes basic understanding of how the game works and to read the objective given to you in the upper left corner. That’s it. Light is just the barrier to entry. One that can easily be met by, like I said, doing your weekly pinnacles and leveling your artifact.

Light is a time barrier, and hence why some of the best players I know don't play master/gm content because you have to grind out light and artifact levels every single season. I'm not going to be GM ready tomorrow, not because I lack the skill, but because I lack the light. Once you learn a raid you can play it any season, no grind required, but master content requires that grind every single season.

Sounds like to me you just hate talking to people and view that as a massive barrier, when in reality it's not a barrier at all.
