I just got an EVGA GTX1060 and I'm not getting any video through Displayport. DVI works but that's not an option for my primary monitor.
Status: UNRESOLVED/SOLVED
Computer Type: Desktop, custom
GPU:GTX 1060 6GB
CPU: Core i7
Motherboard: MSI X8 Pro-E update utility says I'm current
PSU:Corsair TX750M
Operating System & Version: Windows 7
GPU Drivers: Whatever lastest Nvdia drivers are just updated
Description of Problem: I have an AOC G2460 monitor which only has displayport in. It woked fine with my previous card, a GTX 960. With the new card, I am seeing bootup screens and the bios, then I get 'no display.' Also unable to boot to safe mode the screen blacks out before I can see the options to select it. I plugged in an old secondary monitor with DVI and that works fine. I was able to get into Windows this way and update my drivers, but I still get video through the Displayport except the bios screens.
Troubleshooting: I googled around a bit and see a lot of people with this issue saying to unplug EVERYTHING wait a minute and boot back up, no luck. Tried all three of the displayport slots on the 1060, all have same issue. I swapped back in my old 960, using the same PCI-E slot and monitor/displayport cable, still works perfectly.
Thanks in advance for any help!
