Ted vs Beto Debate discussion thread

liberals and democrats are creating a culture of fear around second amendment supporters. For example... I beg you to try and remember what Hillary said to Bernie Sanders for declining to sign off on a particular 2nd amendment issue. I don't remember it exactly but she was like "look at these dead kids parents in the eye and apologize to them, bernie Sanders". it was the bill/law that would allow people to sue Remington in the event a citzen used their bullets to murder.

who do you trust more to make a logical decision vs an emotionally manipulative decision? Bernie or Hillary?

I need politicians who are proud of the second amendment and want to honor the people who choose to defend themselves, rather than solely depend on the police/state to deter and defend against crime. an armed populace is a very good deterance from crime. Provide a source right? Here's my source.... Google the luby's massacre in Texas and listen to the lady that could have saved everyone in there but she choose to obey the law and keep her pistol in her car. She had a clear line of sight on the maniac but couldn't do anything about it and so she lost her father.

I don't want to live in fear just because I have to protect my self.

this fear mongering has created an environment where gun owners hesitate to get therapy after a loss of a loved one because they may be reported as unstable and be put on a list and have their rights stripped away without a fair trial, like the "no fly list".

So I say I need the second amendment to be fiercely protected for the same reason gays need legal marriage and the repeal of don't ask don't tell. this is about respect and tolerance.
