Well both sides are much different now than where they started, so I somewhat agree. Especially because Dems are largely moderate by most standards, especially European standards. And the Repubs are going the way of the way of Aristocracy. Everyone has gotten more right wing on both sides, with the exception of progressives like Bernie and Warren, which is why they get labeled as "socialists". Knowing their policy beliefs means a lot more than just the R or D, but that's just the way it is in a two party system. I'm really glad that the youth of the US is more energized than in the past. What happens now affects them the most in the long run, so they should be educating themselves as much as they can.
