Thank you. You echoed my thoughts to him and the advice to immediately contact me (so I could get a lawyer involved) should anything like this happen again.

I'm sure there are left out details. As you can imagine in his own eyes my cousin is 100% innocent. I have no reason to dispute the story based on history (he was a big part of our lives growing up) but I wasn't there and have not been able to talk to anyone who was. The fact that he was not suspended or in any direct trouble with the school does make his story more believable to me. I figured there wasn't much we (he) could do now except move on but he is very depressed over this and has started (finally) seeing someone to talk about it. I told him it was highly unlikely but that I would look into more and see if there is anything that could be done.
