Teenage girls really catch most of the flack

I know. I dont care anymore. But when youre so young having to worry about this, it fucked my whole identity up hard as I got bullied into not being a girl. And i wish i was lying. I got told “you have to be a boy! youre not a girl at all with how you are and dress”(i wore a fuckin tshirt with some game on it and sweatpants…)

only reason i was able to get out of the mindset was because ive had to grow up so fast anyway, and just had to explore myself when in my teen/preteen years since the bullying was so bad(in a small school in a progressive city by mostly and only the girls in my grade)it gave me pseudo dysmorphia about my body and I thought i was trans. Until i learned about gender identity.

stopping to “give a shit about other’s opinions” dont work when youre a fucking child. When your parent(s) even make you care about your own appearance(i didnt want to wear a dress at graduation but was made to and slightly poked fun at for since it was out of the ordinary.)
