Sure does seem that way sometimes, especially when you’re dealing with the “refball” and player truther types.
I’m not a Saints fan and quite frankly can’t stand Drew Brees, but I remember getting into it with someone that was earnestly claiming he wasn’t even in the top 50 best QBs of all time. That’s just denialism. You can say there’s more athletically gifted and even more successful QBs (rings, accolades, etc), but there’s no way you can possibly frame it to make him a bad, or even average QB. I don’t like it, no one except Saints fans probably do, but he’s one of the best. To take one from the Ben Shapiro playbook, facts and stats don’t care about your feelings. I’m sorry.
