Teenagers of reddit, what's something you think parents need to hear?

im 26, i had some pedo trying to ERP with me when i was like 12 on diablo 2, never told anyone because i handled it by telling him ("her") to hop the fuck on.

Kids need to be protected, some more than others, but alot have their shit together enough to stay safe.

What i think is important to remember though, is those kids that arent "street-smart" enough to look out for themselves and try to understand why there is all this stigma and the precaution surrounding it.

On the flip-side, i'd like to think parents get to know their kids well enough to realise little-timmy can recognise a dangerous situation or not. Thats not to say trust them enough to give them free reign with an IDGAF attitude, but enough to lay the fuck off them chatting to billy-bob the level 121 Fortnite god..
