Tekashi69 Busted in NYC For Texas Arrest Warrant

Real talk that's what you would think. If you got a warrant, law enforcement HAVE to execute it. From there it's up to the arresting jurisdiction to make that call.

In California they got 5 BUSINESS days to come pick you up. I had a situation, I was released from county Jail. That SAME fucking day, a Friday I was doing some shopping the next county over... Now I got tats and probation, still got profiled off the tats. But in my mind I was like Im clean, whatever you can see my ID... Turned out the county jail I just got released from put out a warrant. I wasn't out but 4 hours and there on the border of the next county, he had to take me into custody on a Friday.

So weekends don't count, the extradition bus came and got me a week later, in this out the way ass trip picking up other extradition. Which was Friday another fucking weekend to see the Judge on Monday. I got the time credits though, plus a free ride home.

Couldn't complain though, this old ass dude was on day 3 of an extradition from Nevada, for failure to appear on a DUI....

Now I just thought it was these counties but... Had another situation that was serious - ATF and DEA kicked in my door... Came up empty but I had a warrant for failure to complete DUI class. Feds called in local police - I come out cuffed, street lined with Chevy Tahoe everybody looking and I'm thinking "lol if they only knew what they taking in for right now".

Tl;Dr - Cops will not let warrants slide, ever.... Like they have discretion on other shit, but not warrants. Now the county where your warrant is issued, than can choose whether or not to extradite.... In my experience they always extradite it ain't no thing for them. It's not like they just get you; they round up a bunch at once, they don't give a fuck that you in a stuffy ass van cuffed for hours, days.
