Tell us how your last pedal trade went. Feedback thread.

Don't see many of these posts, but, Poor trade experience with /u/konklin. He had been very prompt about replying and chatting but after I had shipped my pedal and provided tracking info, /u/konklin said he would do the same by 5pm. After 24 hours he still failed to provide tracking info and after multiple attempts to reach him I said that he had until 3:30pm EST to get me tracking or I would reroute the package.

Still have not heard anything. After a quick search I saw that he hasn't been active for about 3 weeks. Not necessarily an indicator of anything but most everyone here is active on multiple subs.

This goes to show that you can not trust someone just because they have 2 successful trades and the flair to show it, you are still trading with complete strangers. Also everyone should use UPS, it is a little more expensive but very easy to intercept packages and much better than getting screwed over.

Also remember that getting tracking info is different than having the package scanned at the shipper. You can get tracking info and never ship a package. I usually have a personal rule that I ship mine when I see that theirs has been dropped off. I skipped my own rule this time and this is what happened. I do not care if your car broke down or you dropped your phone in the toilet, you had an entire day to let me know that you would be late on getting the package to USPS.

Yes I know that it is only 2:30EST but I got tired of waiting so I went ahead and rerouted the package.
