Tell me about your breakfast!

My husband and I have been getting bakery food for breakfast. Living in Japan is awesome as there's tons of bakeries around (normally Western influenced). The breads here are not from this world. It's incredible and insanely cheap (around $1 USD for a pastry/bread usually).

Husband and I both had coffee (his black, mine with cream and sugar- but not too much). From the cafe, I got a tuna salad cheese bread and a bread that they call "almond pie". It's flaky and tastes very almond-y. My husband got a scramble-egged topped bread and a cinnamon bun (this tastes nothing like the usual cinnamon bun from the States. Much more cinnamon-spiced; there's no "syrupy-ness" in just the middle section like the States. Most of it is moist, and there isn't as much frosting. It's more... Christmas-y and "clean" tasting. Not a lot of fried oil taste.) My tuna-salad-bread looks a lot like his scrambled egg bread, just with tuna haha! Other favorites of ours are the ham-and-cheese bread, tiny sweet potato filled breads, milk or maple donuts, and melon-flavored "melon bread" (usually "melon bread" isn't flavored).

Here is the our favorite cafe's facebook page (where I took all the photos from).
