Tell me about your biggest "minute too late" find.

It is a part of the thrift store life, unfortunately.

  1. Just last week this drag queen, bought an authentic Louis Vuitton pochette for $15 at the flea market. He/she didn't even even see it until I asked the owner to see it. Then the owner gives it to him probably because he spends more than me and he was in line first, but he asked to initially see the fake lv.

I did wait until he/she left before I said something to the owner's wife telling her I thought she was unfair. I didn't want to make it angry, because they might look like a woman, but they will hit you like a man when they get mad.

Her response made me laugh, she said, " You are going to straighten that out with him. I mean her."

So, the owner's wife like me can't figure out what it is either.

  1. This woman had a brand new 5qt Le Creuset braiser. It retails for over $300. I wathen the cashier at the pay per pound store charge her $2. I asked and pleaded she refused to trade. Two weeks later I found a vtg Gucci handbag and she was glad to give me that LC the next day.
