I honestly feel bad for them... I had a conversation with someone recently who kept bring up jesus and “knowing god” and I genuinely believe they were being sincere and not baiting. You have to remember that for some this is all they’ve known. I try to take whatever bible lesson they were talking about and relate it to wisdoms I’ve learned in my life. Not everyone has the strength to develop their critical thinking and expand themselves beyond parroting nonsense.

That being said some do it to bait you into talking religion and if that’s the case you find a way to just shut it down. They delight in your frustration so don’t give it to them.
