Tell me some reasons why a woman would hate being a man?

The point of the rule is to keep us from killing each other to make room on the life boats for our respective wives and kids.

For my personal safety, I'll wait and expect luck or rescue to get me to safety. I won't cross the line of hurting someone else.

For my tiny daughter's safety...I don't honestly know where my boundaries are. I'm thankful it's never been tested. I'm pretty confident I would rather live my life out in jail than see my daughter seriously hurt, though.

I figure other parents are doing the same calculation.

If we're all focused fist on the little ones' safety, we all have a better chance to cooperate, and save more of ourselves.

We probably ought to revise 'women first' to 'physically smallest parent per set of kids first'. But that could be hard to decipher in a crisis.

The important thing, to me, is: if you're proactively looking after the safety of a kid, you go before me, in a crisis.
