If you want a fucked up perspective on how shitty and perverse men can be just be a female in the world. Watch TV. Watch YouTube. Read the comments on any news article about rape. Law and order SVU, the most popular one bc it's about victimized when and children. Every woman in the world has to reconcile these things they see every day when getting into a relationship with a man. The people in my life who made me fear what men do to women were my peers in high school, the teen boys around me. They were assholes, trying to sleep with all the girls then making fun of them for doing it while high giving each other. It took me years to trust men enough to date them just by being around regular ass teen boys in high school. Toxic male culture is real and it's every single day. That is what is damaging, not this girl getting paid today.

I think it makes you feel better to think she'll be damaged by this. I think she'll be just fine, just like the rest of us all have to be.
