Tello > Mint ?

BTW, this was my entire post on Mint that the moderators removed:

I ordered 2 SIM cards from Mint Mobile and prepaid for 3 months. But WiFi Calling never activated using their cards. I spent hours trying various suggestions from searching online, plus time with Mint Tech Support. But Mint Tech Support claimed something must be wrong with my phones. To test their claim, I ordered a SIM card from Tello and the WiFi calling buttons again appeared in all the setups and worked fine. I then ordered another SIM card from Tello for my 2nd phone and again, it worked fine. WiFi calling worked before Mint Mobile with Tracfone and worked after Mint Mobile with Tello, so clearly, Mint Mobile never provided the service they advertise. Despite not providing service, Mint Mobile refused to give me a refund, so I disputed the charge on my credit card. Mint Mobile responded to the dispute by claiming I never returned the SIM cards. When I went to customer service for the address to return the cards, I was online for about an hour, with the agent asking various questions and consulting with another agent. The agent then refused to provide an address for the SIM cards Mint Mobile claimed they never got. I went online and found an address, but marked SIM Card return on the envelope. The envelope came back marked "return to sender". I found another address on the Better Business Bureau for Mint, which BTW, gave Mint Mobile an F rating, their lowest for a business. This time I did not label it as SIM Card return and they accepted the envelope. That envelope was sent 11/10/22, along with copies of Mint's reply to the credit card dispute and a written request for refund as instructed by my bank. But no response from Mint. Which of course lays the foundation for another credit card dispute. Also, the longer this gets dragged out, the more entertaining it is to friends for gossip, which I'm sure has prevented a few from ever trying Mint Mobile. Mint does provide a 7 day warranty, knowing of course that customers will likely spend a few days trying to get the service to work, followed by a few more days to change to another service, thus running out the clock for their warranty. Comparing the warranty of the competition is quite enlightening. Stay away from this company.
