Tens of thousands of British travellers face ban from US flights. America quietly introduced the change last month

Uhhh... First off, USA tried to invade canada in 1775

First two lines:

The Invasion of Canada in 1775 was the first major military initiative by the newly formed Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War. The objective of the campaign was to gain military control of the British Province of Quebec (modern day Canada), and convince the French-speaking Canadiens to join the revolution on the side of the Thirteen Colonies.

Considering America's attempt to occupy Canada, it really isn't that far of a stretch to suggest that America intended to annex us in 1812.

Fun facts: The War of 1812 ended in 1814. Canada didn't become a nation until 1865. It was a war between the British Empire and the US, not a war between Canada and the US.

YOU DON'T SAY!

Next wall-o-text blablabla

To quote https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_of_1812

"The United States declared war for several reasons, including trade restrictions brought about by the British war with France, the impressment of as many as 10,000 American merchant sailors into the Royal Navy,[5] British support for Native American tribes fighting American settlers on the frontier, outrage over insults to national honor during the Chesapeake–Leopard Affair, and American interest in annexing British territory.[6] The primary British war goal was to defend their North American colonies; they also hoped to set up a neutral Indian buffer state in the Midwest that would impede American expansion in the Old Northwest and to minimize American trade with Napoleonic France, which Britain was blockading."

In other words: AMERICA WANT IMPERIALIST CONTROL OF THE MURICAS.
