Tens of thousands of women are expected to go on strike across Poland in protest against a new law that would effectively ban abortion.

Friend of mine is raising his young girl alone, while the mother is around town as a known meth head. I would say, considering that he obviously receives no financial assistance from her, that he has a much greater burden in taking care of that kid.

You have so many points made that are just black vs. white, and that's what is wrong with this damn 'debate'. Almost the entire practise of abortion, pregnancy, and child rearing takes place in a grey area. Everybody's situation is so dramatically different and personal, that these cemented opinion comments just sound like one side yelling in an echo chamber.

Even if I agree that typically a woman has more invested, biologically, emotionally, even spiritually, I've seen the opposite to be true first hand. Deadbeat mom's exist. Abusive mothers are easily as common as abusive fathers - their daughters were my hayday back in highschool.

I've lost track a bit of my own point here, so I'll try and reiterate. Something about only a Sith deals in absolutes? Yeah, something like that.
