Terminator 6: Tim Miller is Officially Directing

Honestly where can the plot go at this point?

T1: Terminator sent back in time to kill the mother of the leader of the Resistance before he's born. Humans send somebody back, who ends up impregnating Sarah Connor. Thus fulfilling a sort of grandfather paradox.

T2: Two Terminators are sent back to kill/protect John Connor. This time around the heroes decide to stop running and fight back by destroying Skynet.

T3: Fuck all that shit, Skynet just gets created in a different way while also fucking up the canon.

Terminator Salvation: Tries to salvage what's left of the franchise by making it a sort of prequel/sequel. Not bad, lines up with the canon as well except for a few minor bits because of T3. Obviously setting up for the prequel of T1 and the future war we've been wanting.

Genisys: Fuck everything. Fuck it all to hell. All that character development goes out the window. John Connor is the villain and is a terminator. Time travel is more fucked somehow in this movie. The only cool thing about this movie was the first half before Terminator John Connor shows up (though his terminator design was cool.) Also the film's opening does fit in with the canon while also forgetting the previous film. So it's also a reboot of sorts. Leaves a fucking sequelbait ending.
