In terms of attraction. How important is having a cool job?

I'm married, so not like it really matters, but that being said:

Personally, I care about job satisfaction and ambition. What's cool/boring to me could very well be something entirely different to you.

I'd care a lot more about whether or not you like your job, than if you're a special operations firefighting astronaut who moonlights as a F1 driver. Or, in the case that you don't like your job, what your plan is for not having that job anymore.

And this is more of a personal hangup of mine, but ambition is key to me. I'm someone who's insanely phobic of "getting complacent" and letting life stagnate.

I'm a big advocate of always be improving yourself somehow, whether that's in your career, your relationships, your health, your hobbies, as a person in general, whatever.

I don't think I'd really get along with someone who was content to like, work part/barely full time, and then spend the rest of his life doing nothing but smoking weed and playing video games, for example.

Like for that example, I don't care if you play video games, I've put way too many hours into Mass Effect. I don't care if you're a weed fiend, if I didn't get drug tested for work on the regular, I'd be getting baked pretty frequently, as well.

But it's when that becomes your whole life, and not doing anything else, is when I'd start having issues.

Guess idk if that makes sense.
