‘Terrible days ahead’: Afghan women fear the return of the Taliban

Lol the ″afghan womenz!!!1!″ thing doesn't hold water for most because

A. It′s coming from people who have fuck-all to say about Feminism or women′s rights in general up until this particular instance. It gives the same vibe as ″Actually, the Transgender bathroom ban is about protecting women from predators″ party line; i.e. a bad a faith post-hoc rationalization used as a facade for another agenda.

B. It's not believeable that the American and Coalition military has the interest of Afghan women at heart when they've spent 20 years blowing up and shooting thousands of them and making many thousands more destitute, homeless, and with no intention of giving all of them, most of them, or even many of them safe Asylum in their stable, supposedly enlightened home countries.

And even the afghan women lucky enough to arrive in these countries are often greeted by Muslimphobia and laws that ban the clothes they wear, to the point where they can be stripped and jailed.

Cope with the end of another failed war, Cons.
