Terrible at sticking to a diet, need some help.

I recommend snacking on a handful of natural unsalted almonds whenever you're hungry. Try to include iron-enriched foods (like almonds), it's a great energy-boosting food. Dairy isn't really a good for weight loss because, cow's milk was meant to help their calves gain weight. Drink water in between bites during meals, chew slowly, use a saucer plate to dish your meals. Have small snacks in between meals (helps with metabolism). Oh yeah, eat at the table not in front of a TV, because it'll distract you or you'll overeat.

Whenever you do come across food temptations, STOP and think. Visualize yourself being thin, healthy and happy, then walk away or even jog away. It only takes a minute or two to shrug it off. Remember why you started, or how bad you'll feel if you fail the way previously had. The cake or chips aren't worth it! A single bite will also ruin it all, because you're brain will be like "Fuck it."

When you do keep fighting the temptations, drinking water all the time, and slowly getting into an exercise program, then it'll all become a form of habit overtime. Such as, how I started to eat to satisfy my hunger, not to enjoy it. It became a chore over time.

Also creating an album filled with inspiring or motivating photos can help. I know plenty more things, but I've already built a wall of text.

Another one for energy... when you feel too lazy to do fuck all, fight it. Get dressed and go outside for a walk to buy healthy snacks or anything. Once the fresh air and sun hits you, you'll feel awake. Think about it, it'll only take at least 10 minutes to get out and wake up (if you skip showering and everything).

It's a slow progress, but as time passes and you keep trying, it'll be absolutely worth it. Besides, time flies by. I also recommend yoga, it's light exercise but you'll actually burn calories. When you begin working out for the first day or week, DON'T push yourself too hard or you'll face the plateau effect. Start off slow and easy, but get your heart rate up. Try to exercise 2 times a week, at the VERY least.

And sorry, I can't calculate how much you'll lose by a certain time. However, my estimate is 10 pounds in a month... if you stay away from eating large portions and junk food, midnight snacking, and anything sugary or salty. And exercise 3 hours per week at least.

Good luck and never give up. Think about why you started whenever you feel like giving up. "Junk food satisfies you for a minute, being fit satisfies you for life." - random quote I like.
