TES V was an underwhelming experience

skyrim requiem.

The answer to basically every problem with skyrim.

I simply cannot play skyrim without requiem now, and I've been playing skyrim requiem for years.

It's a complete overhall, but basically what it does is completely de-level the entire world, and make the whole game worth playing again.

If you've ever played say? Runescape? You'll understand the concept of starting at level 1 and killing chickens, then moving on to a single man in 1 on 1 combat, then later being strong enough to kill demons and dragons, or take on 5 people at once.

Requiem devels the world in a handbuilt way, so that you have to explore low level side quests and dungeons, and move your way into more dangerious area's of the world as you level up.

This stops you rushing any of the main quests or guilds, as later quests in them will have you fighting enemies you probably can't handle if you progress too fast, meaning you have to go out and explore more, train more, and become actually the hero of skyrim.

It changes far more than I've listen now, but all with the general idea to make the world more relevant, difficult, and immersive.

I can complete vanilla skyrim in hours, with requiem you can play the same character for months.
