The truth is, even if you had watched the grand tour, is that Chinese people buy Chinese cars with foreign market for cars drying up and foreign manufacturers are investing heavily in finding out why it's happening. It could be a simple fact that the cars are designed differently since Chinese passengers don't like cramped back seats which some manufacturers compromised on by building longer bodies for additional leg room.
