Tesla Urges Workers to Prove the ‘Haters’ Wrong and Ramp Up Production

I understand where your coming from: All big automakers have been developing their own technology and many of them way before Tesla. But just like Apple, Tesla took all the best pieces of it and made it their own. Ever since the Model S was introduced, the range on electric vehicles has been increased by 50%. Can we attribute this solely to Tesla? Ofcourse not. But they showed that electric vehicles can been cool and thus forcing the competition to seriously start investing in R&D.

I'm not Tesla fanboy. I'll take a beefy V8 over EV anytime. But the amount of downplaying Elon Musk's influence in several industries the last decade in this thread is staggering.
