I dunno if they're really sold on EVs though, more in the "don't do anything at all and go back to living in caves" camp. They really should like them though, 2 years of emissions from driving an ICE car is what it takes to build a brand new EV, 95% of the grid is renewable so there's barely any emissions after that. There's still a lot of "EVs are actually bad" misinformation out there though.
