I've been craving Ivysaur content ever since Denti left us and you are definitely the most consistent on stream lately. I've watched all of your sets from this last Paris playlist and I have to say you looked dominant in most of your games. I was getting really frustrated watching this set against Charby and the one against Smash_Falco3. They really know how to punish your tether, to the point where I retract any statement I made about the tether nerf being fair when 3.5 was released. If you're off the edge while playing anyone with relative skill then you're fucked. Punishing the tether was hard but doable in 3.02, now it's just free. Smash_Falco3's Ike was consistently punishing your recovery with a dair to bair which was absolutely killing you in the first few games. Thankfully you adapted your offstage game and ended up catching him with a flurry of dair meteors. You were even able to pull of an up air spike.

My friend is a fox main and the matchup has become significantly easier since I've been utilizing the up air spike and I think it is definitely ivysaur's most overlooked gimping tool. If fox has to recover low and isn't able to get the wall jump -> illusion then he is forced to use fire fox. If you up air above fox as soon as he takes off then he is dead. You can even catch fox out of illusion with it if you have the timing down, although this doesn't usually kill at low percents and is more risky than clashing with fire fox. I loved seeing you take a stock with it and I really hope to see more Ivysaur's use it in the future. Watching the Denti vs Westballz set at Aftershock was cringeworthy. The amount of times Denti could have taken a stock with the up air spike and he decided instead to bair 5 times made me sick.

I'd love to one day see you take a set off Charby but it doesn't look like you have much of a chance this patch. The Marth matchup was hard in 3.02. In 3.5 it feels almost impossible. With Zen back in the game and with you losing to Zefklop you're going to need to work on the Charizard match-up. The Ivysaur Charizard mu is my favorite pokemon battle to watch in PM and you belong to the community with the most powerful charizards mains in the world. I'm rooting for you man. Next time you face-off with Zefklop I want to see you dominate him!
