Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton says Austin officials have until 6 p.m. to lift any local mask requirements and business restrictions or "On behalf of the State of Texas, I will sue you."

The problem that I see today is the Republican party is anti-Democrat. Not the voters necessarily, but those in congress. So while the voters can be passionate about other causes from other parties, their voices will never be heard because of their elected officials. When it comes to gun rights, there's only one party that is truly for them and that's Libertarians. Democrats wants checks on them, Republicans want checks on them in areas that are darker.

I do get what you're saying though. All I'm saying is give people a chance to expand their other views and guide them in the right direction if they aren't really matching the ideals of the party. But one thing I love about this sub is that even though it's a Libertarian sub, conversations happen. We don't really see that anywhere else. The extreme views are pushed out but outside of that, it's mostly good people who just want to live their lives.
