EVERYONE'S freedom is more important than safety, health or otherwise. Why would you give up the right and option to choose what is best for you personally? If you want the vaccine then get the vaccine. If you want to wear a mask then wear a mask. If you really believe these things are going to protect you then you should have no issues with someone else choosing not to, AND if you see someone you don't like (for any reason, not just that they are not wearing a mask) then don't be next to them.

PS: Throughout history no government freely gave up control and provided freedoms back to its people. Great more recent example is the PATRIOT act.
