Texas principal censors paper, bans all editorials and ousts award-winning adviser

I went to Allen High School, for what it's worth. Graduated in 2005.

They had ( And I'm sure still have) great teachers who really cared about me and busted their asses to make sure I prospered and was successful.

Lots of great programs, including the ability to take some college courses, while in high school, to give you a bit of a head start. I assume they still have that, but it has been nearly 15 years.

And of course, the football program is insanely huge and successful there as I'm sure you know, but as far as academics goes, I saw them work hard to custom tailor things for as many students as they could, to ensure all were successful.

I never did get to go to a Lovejoy school. I lived in Fairview, but back then, Lovejoy wasn't it's own district and all the students went to Allen. It was working on becoming it's own district right as I was graduating, if I recall.

I've heard great things about Lovejoy though too.

Anyway, for what that is all worth.
