I'm sorry (not really) but weak ass teachers who shy away from challenging material produce weak ass, undereducated kids.

This was entirely appropriate and would've been done in the 1990s.

Le me guess? You'd teach sanitized lessons on the holocaust leaving out the details of the worst atrocities and not showing the worst photos of it? Or you'd teach about the civil war without showing the gruesome parts of it, so kids leave without really understanding the horrors of slavery and war?

Teachers like you are almost definitely why kids graduating right now have such a poor understanding of history, and holy shit am I glad that I went to school when I did.
