[Text]The last words of 522 death row inmates.

He does speak the truth. Would God, or anyone of *any* degree of humanity for that matter, be merciful to, or forgiving of, a society such as ours? A society that would complicity euthanize its undesirables, only to attain a meek form of justice for a few. Justice that should restore karmic equilibrium and harmony to the entities involved.
Look what this man writes and what Modna has alluded to! The US has spent billions of dollars on repressive state apparatuses. Homeland Security, intelligence agencies,... *the DMV* and obviously a nationwide police force that probably dwarfs some countries' standing military.
I am sad to say I wouldn't describe our ruling body anything close to that of a Noble Order that rules with a just hand. We only reap more and more division amongst the citizenry when we stare into our electric tubes and see calculated portrayals of people, places, cultures, beliefs and ideas disguised as the reality of things. Everyone knows that accuracy is not necessarily a forte of TV News today... *cough*^CNN^or should I say Time Warner
Just look how deep racial divisions have ingrained themselves into our society, only to be nothing less than be spurred on by the very media that is supposed to expose and rectify the very state of separation that plagues us! Represented by the media of our national space is the commune we all share: when we watch the same news and are exposed to a few unifying narratives about the American life. What is also simultaneously the dominant grain in which society flows. This commune is compromised by ulterior interests of an agenda largely unseen. Not to mention we have also become fractured in this sense that we sort of uniquely customize where we get our information from and what media we consume. Regardless, the narrative of the American dream is become sour.
It is an ill sense of priority that we have attained over the past couple of millennia. The cosmic blink of an eye in which we have become the latest and greatest form of *modern*.
I say we need to become once again stewards of our environment; and that means investing in your surrounding, in one another. Not just money, but time (also a commodity), and a little positive energy:) Neglect exists in places where, clearly, for all intents and purposes, there is no money-making incentive to pursue investment. And it seems that sadly, a monetary system like ours does not support the ideal that having healthy neighbors is better than being healthy yourself. The US will not become a gift giving based economy any time soon... no... not ever probably. It doesn't even necessarily have to in order become just a tad more utopian though. Perhaps even there is nothing wrong with hierarchy. We see it in *nature* when the jaguar acts with digression and does not overthrow the forest's balance. Should they ever act as we do, who is it but the lowly insect or parasite that may lower the beast into the ground. The pyramidal societal structure has proven historically to be industrious in its mechanical output, and that's great for technological progression but also for waging all types, levels, and degrees of war.
What sours our existence here on this planet is that so much is hidden and kept from the lower echelons of society. I just read a man's poetically incoherent last words that actually made all the sense in the world to me. A thief whose education stopped at grade 6. I hope my education never stops. And I hope that for everybody who so wishes it, to be educated in such a way so that they would never want to stop either. Because you're just blessed with the art of language. And you can come to this amazing epiphany after reading any book worth reading that you were just transported to another place. A place conjured up by another brain somewhere out there in space and time, with different dimensional coordinates. A brain's expressive output that you *felt* a connection to and continue to resonate with. The notion that we archive texts and other manifestations of knowledge is a testament to the temporality of creativity and the potential for subsequently limited clairvoyance. *But I digress...*
Have we not seen enough satire? The Karl Krauses and the John Olivers of the world expose the systems of political life support for us. Have we not seen enough activism, boycotting and protesting to attain basic civil rights in? Have we not heard those Chiefs who are still connected with the Earth cry out that we are headed on a great cracked earthen road of destruction and despair? There are signposts everywhere if you become aware. Complacency however, what is synonymous with blindness has grown thick in our land. We may not even relinquish material possession without breaking the law. This man is yet another warning signpost. We need to start listening to the voices we have drowned out with the absolute commotion of our ever accelerating lifestyles in a society made complacent by fear of renegotiating your perception. God forbid it isn't condoned by government and the status quo. Capitalist or Socialist, Democrat or Republican, these are but constructed dichotomies whose divisive nature may be exactly what is sought after. The hierarchy of modern man is clearly compromised by an unbalanced apex, *the elite*. They who should sooner see a true criminal if they looked in the mirror than if they looked in the eyes of this executed man.
