Textura Quadrata Majuscules attempts - Part 2

Hello! This is miles ahead of where you where before. The height is much better, and your forms are less pinched than before. As a result, the majuscules cohere a lot more with the minuscules. Much improvement it seems to me.

Just full disclosure, though, like u/dibujex, my knowledge of TQ majuscules is not advanced. Those forms I linked to before should be taken with a massive pinch of salt. A lot of those look, with further experience, plain bad to me now. I did a bit of a revision a while ago to improve upon some of them, but there are still many problems, sadly. You live and learn. I continue to struggle with them, as they are deceptively hard to do. My latest IG piece was spoiled by a dodgy majuscule W! It's too fat and unbalanced. Ugh. As always, look at the source, in particular the Ars Minor, and scrutinise the forms there. Trace the main lines in pencil and think about their relationship to the minuscules. Study as much as you practise!

Whatever you do, keep it up, as your TQ is showing clear improvement!
