TFAB's Weekly BFP Post - March 04, 2018. Got your BFP? Post your story here!

I still feel weird doing this, but I read through every BFP post of 2017 and 2018, so whatever helps anyone, it's here. Cycle: 5 weird ones, 4 months. Currently 4weeks+6 Ovulation cycle day: CD22 Relevant BD/BD method (SMEP, Shettles, etc.): O-4, O-2, O-1, Tracking methods and apps used: FF, vaginally temping and OPKs. Also followed a "natural cycle" with my reproductive endocrinologist where my cycle was tracked as it was, and was offered a trigger Hcg shot on CD 21 after a 1.9cm follicle on ultrasound. I found out AVA and CBfertility monitor wouldn't work on me with PCOS levels, and they didn't, so they were wasted money. And I never got a positive OPK this cycle, and NEVER got EWCM.

Symptom spotting: SO much exhaustion during the TWW, even before implantation. But, weirdly have had tons of energy since my first BFP. My boobs are same painful and swollen as BFN cycles, but the veins are pronounced and have already gained a cup size. I had intestinal distress past few days, dizziness in the mornings, and a meat aversion lately.

Day of positive test(s): I tested out my trigger shot with clinical guards and the trigger never faded completely: on 9DPO, it was faintly darker but I didn't notice at the time. 10 DPO definitely darker. Very visible Frers on 10DPO forward. Blood test today confirmed.

Supplements and medications: I was started on Metformin at CD 18. I take Humira for RA. Relevant supplements: 7DPO tests showed a progesterone deficiency so I've been taking vaginal suppositories. Prenatal, CoQ10 for last two cycles, cod liver oil, vitamin D, B complex + b12, melatonin

Birth control history, if relevant: HBC for 16 years STRAIGHT. see health conditions for more, with Nuva Ring being my last for 8 years Typical cycle length: unknown. Ranged from 14-42 days. My periods are 1-2 days, max, and light enough to not even fill a tampon (even though they're red), so although I've been told I'm in a small minority of normal people there, I don't know where my cycles began really and if they were "real".

*Health conditions/medical tests: I have rheumatoid disease and lupus that's been lightly active with Humira and plaquinil. I figured having children while the diseases are relatively controlled is better than waiting for them to, if ever, be in remission. I was told LAST month I had PCOS, with all levels high, including insulin (where my glucose is actually low normal), over 18 follicles in each ovary, and was told that I'd likely need major medical intervention to help get pregnant. I was torn apart. I was put on metformin and I ovulated 3 days later with a trigger shot (likely coincidental to metformin, obviously).

Since I stopped HBC 5 months ago, I've: gained 20 lbs still eating Keto, got a melasma mustache (I have blonde hair), acne for the first time in 31 years, high cholesterol (where it was normal just 6 months ago). HBC hides PCOS symptoms well- so when I got off of it, hell broke loose.

Link to chart I measured RHR (which potentially told me I was pregnant before I knew), used vaginal temping, and put in all my progesterone, FSH, Estradiol levels throughout the cycle in the event I needed to reference them or someone would like to. https://imgur.com/5z0NOqE

Other (advice, magic secrets, freaking out, miscellaneous): I used preseed as normal lube, soft cups after sex for 12 hours, ate a pineapple with the core over the first few days in TWW, brazil nuts (a couple) each day during TWW, I kept my feet "warm" and ate "warm things". (Voodoo magic, I guess, but it is what it is). Oh and my legs were propped up for a good 10 mins after BD each time.
