TFAB's Weekly BFP Post -February 07, 2016. Got your BFP? Post your story here!

Can't believe I am here and almost feel like I'm not "really" pregnant since it's only 12 dpo but got a very clear "Yes +" on a First Response Early Response this morning so here it goes...

  • I have been off B/C since July, and just actively avoiding having sex during fertile periods until this year. This was a recommendation of my doc to have a thicker uterine lining to make MC less likely. She only recommended two months but we weren't ready until now anyway.

  • Through this sub, I learned a lot about temping and tracking. I usually O between CD14-16. Regular 29 day cycle.

  • We are both 30 years old, non-smokers, normal weight, no known issues. First baby, and first official cycle "trying".

  • This month, I decided not to temp, and just go with my CM readings and try an OPK on CDs 13-16. The temping was making me a bit nuts.

  • I used a Clearblue OPK. It gives you either a smiley face or a circle. Definitely liked that a lot more than squinting out lines.

  • I used both Glow and Ovia and liked them for different reasons. Having two on the go was helpful for cross-referencing.

CD1-13: Nothing unusual. Been taking my vitamins, exercising as usual. CD13: Negative OPK, very light spotting (I sometimes get this the day before O) CD14: Sex in the a.m., positive OPK right after. CD15: Sex in the p.m. CD16-20: Feeling completely normal. Some sharp cramping but haven't been on a regular diet due to crazy busy at work so attribute to my digestive system. CD21: Boobs start to hurt. This isn't unusual for me - they always start to hurt around CD21. What was different is instead of feeling sore they just felt heavy and are bigger. Actually a bit less sore than when AF is coming. CD22: Starting to get the beginning of a cold, otherwise same same. CD23: Leave for a business trip. On the plane definitely feel my boobs "tingle". Again. not sore, just heavy and tingling. CD24: Busy at work, really tired but definitely have a cold now so not surprised. CD25: Wanted to test but the airline lost my luggage with the FRER in it so have to wait until today. Very tired again. Logical me attributes to jet leg to not get my hopes up. CD26 (12 dpo): BFP this morning!

I am not home until tomorrow night so you gals and guys are the first folks I've told! Thanks to this community for all your help and education. I still am hyper skeptical, but do hope this baby sticks!

Best of luck to all of you!
