I'm piggybacking on your post a little bit.

I'm also starting a search for birth certificate, I am thai born with a thai mother but my birth certificate is long lost after coming to Europe at age 1 - I'm age 32 now.

We're not sure what hospital I was born at, since this was over 30 years ago and I am a little bit(a lot) lost as where to even start or if it's even possible to find it.

I know next to nothing about how Thailand works and how people are registered but if anyone has any idea in what area I could start asking, it would be very much appreciated :)

My passport states that I am born in "Chon Buri, Thailand" - would the district office for this province have any registration with my information?
