Thank God for Taco Bell

It's like 2 minute to heat a pan, 2 minutes to cook a quesadilla. This is less time you'll spend in a drive through.

Taco Bell style food is some of the easiest to make ahead and meal prep with. 90 seconds in the microwave at work. You can get 3 meals for $5 if you make it yourself and it will be just as mediocre or better.

Using things like frozen toaster hashbrowns or Morningstar crumbles makes it easy for the lazy to add fillers or meat.

People really overestimate how much product is in fast food as well Taco Bell isn't putting half a package of shredded cheese in a burrito or a 1/4 pound of beef. I do, but that's because I want it to taste good.

Heck, while you're at it instead of minced mystery meat, how about some shredded pork from crock-pot.

It adds up. People need to stop underestimating how much time they spend getting "fast food" and overestimating how much time it takes to cook at home or reheat at work. Stop thinking home cooking requires a 5 course meal and for it to be healthy.

Taco Bell doesn't have a taco time machine to make faster food and there's no way they could provide you food cheaper than it is to make at home with the cost of labor and overhead.
